I know I'm going to get flames for this but I cam getting tired of the "Concord Provides consequences NOT Protection" spam.
First off, by the very fact that suicide ganking in empire has become such an epidemic, it clearly shows that Concord is not providing consequences of any real worth.

sounds like a police force to me, hell the DED is referred to as the Police agency of the concord assembly by CCP.
The problem is that Concord by its definition IS a policing organization, a organization that has not been policing anything, by saying destruction of ships or pods is policing, but I have to agree with the OP and the previous poster. Criminals, pirates or other wise have been receiving slaps on the wrist and making millions in profit because of it. It is a clear loophole that has been allowed for many to jump through.
Yes, and though CCP has also said "Empire space is safer not safe." they are referring to the Rats, letting people know that there will be NPCs that will shoot at you without Concord reprisal . and People have perverted that saying to justify why Concord should remain Impotent. Its ridiculous and people are going to ridiculous lengths to continue with a clearly broken game aspect.
the problem is alot of the solutions are so far the other way that being a pirate is impractical. I understand that there are those that wish to be pirates and make there money as such.
but the consequences that concord is providing is not offering enough of a deterrent and needs to be reexamined. As soon as possible.
